Mill Valley Coffee knew they had to create the right image for their new brand of coffee if they were to compete with established coffee brands such as Lavazza and Illy. Absolute Design created the Origin brand, helped them to develop it, and put it in place. The brand reflects the owner's vision of a young, fresh and forward thinking coffee company.

As well as designing the Origin brand, Absolute Design also produced all packaging and the company's website, which receives on average 300 quality hits each week.

Since then the combination of great products and an effective brand has resulted in a phenomenal growth in turnover, from £150,000 three years ago to nearly £1 million this year. The business currently employs 12 members of staff.

Origin coffee is fast becoming the coffee of choice for people in the know, from Rick Stein's Café and St. Petroc's, to the Eden Project, Extreme Academy, the National Maritime Museum and Blue Fish. It is also the coffee of favour at Delight Organic restaurants in Andalucia.
