Absolute were commissioned to turn a run down Irish pub in the centre of a small market town in Helston, Cornwall into a contemporary bar.
The space was narrow and very dark with small areas on different levels so difficult to work with. The pub had been closed for over a year so the brief was to bring the place back to life. Years ago when the venue was 'the place to drink' it had was called The Beehive. Absolute felt that to re-name the venue would have a positive impact on the local community. |
