Absolute were commissioned to develop a site in Truro, Cornwall into a ground floor restaurant and 1st floor bar. The building was a shell and devoid of any interesting architectural features. The challange was to create two unique spaces with a unity between them.
The brief for the bar upstairs was to create a 'high-class drinking den' with the feel of a gentleman's club.
The bars aim was to provide an upmarket environment for the new breed of young professionals in Cornwall with a feeling of luxury being the paramount aim.
